  • A bad taste in your mouth that doesn’t go away after brushing and using mouthwash

Root Canal - Trophy Club, TX Dentist

Root Canal Therapy Treatment

The pulp of a tooth is composed of nerves and blood vessels and when this becomes infected or damaged, a root canal is typically performed. During the procedure, Trophy Club root canal dentist David Crumpton, DDS, removes the pulp and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed.

Many patients are fearful of root canals because they have a preconceived notion that the procedure is painful; however, the procedure is relatively painless. We numb the area of the mouth where the tooth is located and can recommend an over-the-counter pain medication if you have discomfort following the procedure.
